A new series of visual art and music by Catherine Davis, that is an homage to the original masterpiece by Modest Mussorgsky. Using his concept of visual art with the accompaniment of music, including promenades within the site-specific nature of the concert to lead us from "piece to piece". Visual art components by Hatch Workshop, Brian David Johnson, Aaron Michalovic, Adam Young and Hyrax Studios. Compositions by Catherine Davis with other performing musicians such as Jarod Harmeier on Guitar, Leah Nelson on Viola, Leigh Wallenhaupt on Violin, Rylie Harrod on Cello as well as notable student chamber musicians throughout the city of Austin and from the CHAMPS program.
